As a Senior Consultant at Third River Partners, she specializes in Strategic Planning and Operational Leadership. Michelle comes with a background with over 15 years of experience in Healthcare Leadership. Michelle served as the Assistant Vice President of Operations for the Episodic Care Division of Baptist Health Medical Group in Kentucky and Indiana. The Episodic Care Division operates over 73 locations, including Urgent Care, Occupational Medicine, Retail Physical Therapy, and Virtual Care. Michelle also led the Episodic Care Division as the central point of operations for Baptist Health Medical Groups’ pandemic response. Before working with Baptist Health, Michelle worked as the Grant Administrator for the Primary Care Center FQHC in Lexington, now operating as Healthfirst Bluegrass. Her time there included the initial work around the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, operations of School-Based Clinics, Healthcare for the Homeless, and a $12 million grant for a new facility.

Drawing on her background as a healthcare executive and later work in Pastoral Care, Michelle enjoys encouraging others to live out their missional values in practical ways.

Michelle and her husband Edgar, who is originally from Spain, reside in Lexington, Kentucky, and spend most of their free time with their three children. Their sons enjoy soccer, their daughter is pursuing aerial arts, and as a family, they enjoy investing in their church and the robust international community within Lexington.
