Ken Jennings, Ph.D.
Ken Jennings, Ph.D., is a bestselling author, speaker, active consultant in leadership development and goal achievement, as well as the Founder of ThirdRiver Partners. With practical and proven approaches, Ken counsels senior leadership teams at many healthcare, technology, pharmaceutical and biotechnology organizations. He advises healthcare and integrated delivery systems on mission-critical projects while helping them build leadership skills. Ken has most recently worked at The Cleveland Clinic, Johns Hopkins Health System, Accenture, Fresenius Medical Care, Texas Health Resources, Intermountain Healthcare and other leading organizations.
The heart of his leadership philosophy is “putting servant leadership to work.” Today, he serves as the Chairman of Third River Partners and continues to play a key role in conducting industry research and developing new strategies and programs to unite and empower organizations.
Ken is also an active member in his community and is passionate about urban renewal and campus ministry initiatives. In addition to working with for-profit businesses, Ken frequently provides non-profit and faith-based organizations with leadership development tools and strategy execution methods using his unique shared goal achievement approach.
Ken’s other works include The Greater Goal: Connecting Purpose and Performance, coauthored with Heather Hyde; Changing Health Care; and Ten Thousand Horses: How Leaders Harness Raw Potential for Extraordinary Results, coauthored with John Stahl-Wert. He holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from Purdue University; an M.S. in Management from the Air Force Institute of Technology, and a B.S. from the United States Air Force Academy. Ken lives in Pittsburgh and New York.
